Frontier, on-device and in the cloud
Vision-language models, agentic systems, embodied AI, evaluated for what they actually do, not what the launch post claims. Most of what we build for clients starts here.
Frontier AI is easy to talk about and hard to make work in the real world. Labs runs its own robotics lab and design studio so that what goes in your report has been tested, and what we build for you has been built by people who do this every week.

We wanted the opposite: a place where frontier claims get tested before they reach your report, and where the products we recommend actually get built.
The lab gives us that. When a launch post claims a new capability, we run it here first and tell you what held up. When a concept is worth building, the same team builds it: software and AI against real data on the Edge platform, hardware designed and engineered in the lab. By the time something reaches you as a recommendation, we already know what it takes to make it work.
It also changes who you get. The engineers who write your monthly report are the same people who spent last week getting a frontier model to run on-device. That's the difference between reading about the frontier and standing on it.
One thing the lab isn't: a showroom. We don't run tours or demonstrations. The engagement is virtual by design, and the lab's time goes on your work.

A humanoid, a quadruped and drones on the floor. Manipulation, perception and mobility tested against real sensors and real constraints, not simulation alone.
When a concept needs a physical product, we design and engineer it here: industrial design, electronics, enclosures, print farm. Our device work has won multiple Red Dot awards.
Labs takes a concept all the way to a finished product. Then it hands over. Edge Expert Services hosts, operates and evolves what we build on the Edge platform, so the product keeps working long after the build is done.
That split is deliberate. Labs stays focused on the frontier and the next move for your business. Expert Services stays focused on keeping what's live reliable. You get one group for the idea, the build and the years after, without Labs' attention drifting from what it's for.
Short, honest write-ups from the lab. What worked, what didn't, what it means. Good outreach material and good proof.
Tell us about your organisation and the change you're after. We'll come back with how a Labs retainer would work for you, and what the first report would cover.
