Edge has spent a decade building sovereign infrastructure. Labs is what happened when we asked what the frontier of AI would actually need from that infrastructure, and realised the only way to find out was to build with it ourselves. Now we do the same for other organisations: watch the frontier, turn it into concepts, and build the finished product.

[Two or three paragraphs. Where Edge came from, why the team started running frontier models and robotics on its own hardware, and the moment it became clear that other organisations needed the same thing: an independent view of what's real, from people who had made it run.]
[What Labs is now: size of team, what's in the lab, the Red Dot awards and the products they were for, how many industries you're reporting on. Don't name the city.]
[Where it's going: the ambition for the retainer, and the kind of products you want to be known for building.]
We only recommend what we're prepared to build. If we wouldn't put our own team on it, it doesn't go in the report as a recommendation.
Most frontier capability isn't ready for most organisations most of the time. We'd rather tell you that than sell you a build.
Every recommendation carries an estimate of what it would move and by how much. We're judged on those numbers later.
The people who spot the opportunity are the people who specify it and the people who build it. One hand-off, at the end, to Edge Expert Services to run it.
We don't resell anyone's robots or models. The only thing we have to sell you is being right.
Engineers, researchers and designers who spend most of the week building. Names, faces and backgrounds matter here; buyers want to know who they're getting.

Labs is a unit of Edge, the sovereign cloud platform. That matters for two reasons. Anything we build runs on infrastructure we own, under your control, without a hand-off to a third party. And Edge has been operating at scale for a decade; Labs inherits that engineering discipline rather than having to invent it.
When a Labs build is finished, it's handed to Edge Expert Services to host, operate and evolve. Labs stays on the frontier; Expert Services keeps what's live reliable. You get one group for the idea, the build and the years after.
We're a small team and hiring carefully. If you'd rather be building than in the deck, we'd like to hear from you.
